Had two giant growths -- one of them was totally gruesome -- excised. The money was a good deal less than I expected and the vet said Doggo was a robust specimen. So not the sad that I was fearing. Now, we are off on a cross-country flight and leaving Doggo in the care of our 17-year-old...

Gnarly!! My dog had almost the same issue on the same spot and came through like a champ, so I have nothing but good things to say. It was traumatic- out regular vet was out of town and my dog gets these weird huge pimple like things. One got infected and ended up being like wallet sized on his neck and turned all sorts of nasty. Scar healed perfectly and hair grew over it so you can’t even see it happened.
